Dear Families, Faculty and Staff,
In following a tradition from his previous diocese, Bishop Lucia has assigned a Bishop’s “no school” Day as his gift to schools when he offers his first mass at a school. The Bishop gave this gift to our schools when he offered mass recently at St. John School and Seton. Bishop Lucia has agreed that our System of four schools can use this gift in whatever way works best for us. With that being said, the four Principals have agreed that December 23rd is the best use of this gift which will allow more time for all of us to prepare for Christmas. Therefore, there will be no school for faculty, staff, and students on December 23rd. We thank Bishop Lucia for this special gift.
