Dear Seton Catholic Central Community,
I am thrilled to share some more fantastic news with all of you. Our Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse Team has had an outstanding season, resulting in a well-deserved spot in the sectional tournament!
Finishing the season with an impressive record of 12-4, the team showcased skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the season. It’s worth noting the remarkable efforts they put in to conquer challenges, including victories against three of the five larger schools they faced this year.
One of those victories was a trip to Pennsylvania, where they faced off against Scranton Prep and emerged victorious in a thrilling overtime showdown. Such victories not only demonstrate the talent and resilience of our team but also highlight their ability to rise to the occasion when it matters most.
As a result of their outstanding performance, our boy’s lacrosse team has earned the second seed in the Sectional Tournament. This achievement not only reflects their hard work and dedication but also positions them for an exciting home game against our long-time rival, Chenango Forks.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 21st, at 7 pm, as we come together as a community to support the team in this crucial match-up. Let’s fill the sidelines with our cheers and encouragement as our boys strive to secure another victory and advance further in the tournament.
