Performing Arts

The Seton Catholic Central department of Performing Arts allows every student to participate in multiple different opportunities. Instrumental students can choose from 7th-8th grade Band, Band One, Stage Band, Pep Band, and Chamber Group. Students can choose from Woodwind, Brass, String, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Percussion instruments with no experience necessary. Many instruments can be provided as well as individual instruction. Performances include winter and spring concerts as well as home basketball games for the pep band, and school musicals. Vocalists can choose from General Chorus and Select Chorus for competition and travel opportunities. As part of our Theatre program we produce a high school musical in the fall, and a 7th-8th grade musical in the spring. Our many groups also participate in our school masses and liturgical selections. Come see what the Saints can accomplish and join us in our fun. Students participated in competition, Paramour Performance workshop, Stage combat workshop, saw the shows “Anastaia” and “Paramour”, Met a Rockette (Megan), toured Radio City Music Hall, and had a Master class with Broadway coach Doug Jabara.
