IMPORTANT NOTES
Quarterly payments are due in July, October, January and April. Monthly payments are based on an 11 month plan, beginning in July and ending in May.
If registering after July 15th, the above quarterly and monthly tuition amounts would not be applicable, since the payments would be spread out over a shorter period of time. In this case, the Director of Admissions & Enrollment will provide you details of your tuition obligation and payment amount.
Early Childhood & Preschool

Additional Child Discount in Preschool
A multiple child discount now extends to the Early Childhood Education programs as follows: Second child attending a Program – $250 discount; Third child – $500 discount; Fourth or additional child – no tuition. When determining tuition for all children, the first child is the oldest in age, followed by the next oldest siblings. Example for a family of three, with Parishioner Rates: Child in 8th grade (First Child Payment from chart above), Child in third grade (Second Child Payment from chart above) and child in 4-year-old program (Listed rate above, less $500).

Tuition Payment Policy

A student may not begin in September if there is past due tuition owed.

A FACTS Tuition payment plan must be in place in order for a student to start the new school year.

The privilege of participating in graduation ceremonies may be suspended if tuition is not paid in full.

Personal checks will not be accepted for past due tuition during the month of June and again after August 15th.

In the event that tuition is left unpaid, the school will refer your tuition account to our collection attorney and you will be responsible for all collection of related fees. If you withdraw after July 1st, you will be responsible for one-half tuition owed.

Tuition Assistance Program (Tap)
This is Diocesan tuition assistance for Catholic School Education funded by the Hope Appeal. It is based on financial need. FACTS Aid Assessment information is available from The Office of Admissions or our four individual schools. Local Aid / CSBC Scholarships
Seton Catholic Central also has local sources of Aid that require additional documents, if a student chooses to apply for those specifically. Please click on the Scholarship link above to access.
FACTS forms must be completed and submitted by February 15th for consideration for the next school year. You will only need to complete one application if you have children in more than one school.
New families that inquire about admission after the deadline has passed and are seeking financial aid should still complete the FACTS tuition assistance documents, as you may still be eligible for local aid this year. Please do this unless instructed by the Office of Admissions to do otherwise.
Multiple Child Tuition Assistance
This is assistance for families with more than one child attending a Catholic School in Broome County. For more information, please contact the Catholic School Office at 607-231-4149.
Additional Scholarships And Tuition Assistance Programs
Additional Scholarships and Tuition Assistance Programs may be available at each school. There is assistance available based upon financial need and scholastic achievement. Please contact the school in which you will be enrolling for further information and assistance. The Catholic Schools of Broome County office will also be able to provide you with guidance.

What a night! We kicked off the #50yearsofSCC celebration this past Friday at our Annual Green Tie event. The evening was full of celebration as we honored our Teachers of the Year, Ms. Briana Howell, Mr. Kevin Tye, Mr. Tony Basile, and Mrs. Mary Newins, as well as our 2026 Saintly Service Recipient, Deacon Jan DeAngelo, and we are so blessed by the generosity of our CSBC community, we raised $150,000 for tuition assistance! Thank you again to our event sponsors for making this event a reality: John and Cheryl Mirabito, Gallagher Baker, PC, Lalor Family Dental, Scoville-Meno Family of Dealerships, Slavik & Co., and the Schmidt Family. This week, Mr. Pipher’s Careers and Vocations classes at Seton welcomed special guest speakers, Father Ignatius and Father Charbel from Mount Saint Hermitage in Endicott and Father Cornelius Deep a recently ordained Pastoral Vicar. The speakers shared their faith journeys and gave students an inside look at what daily life is like living out their unique spiritual callings.
A huge thank you to the speakers for sharing their wisdom, and to Mr. Ramil for connecting us with Father Charbel and Father Ignatius!

Staff/alumni shoutouts! Next up is Joy (Ivancie) Ousterout, class of `02.
After almost 25 years since graduating from Seton Catholic Central in 2002, Joy finds herself once again roaming familiar halls as she enters her 6th year with CSBC. She is the current TK teacher at St. James Catholic School and thanks her incredible experience as a CSBC student for the pull to come back and enroll her own children. The same feeling of family and community exists now, just as it did then and she is honored to be a part of it in a professional capacity. Joy has always felt indebted to her teachers for the amazing experience she had in school and has come to realize that the most valuable thing she can give back is the gift of her time. Joy has 3 young daughters all in the system and her husband just recently became a Saint as he has taken on the role of Boys Varsity Soccer Coach. Looking forward to an incredible year ahead - Go Saints!

"Before my time at Seton, I was an Alum of St. James Grammar School in Johnson City. You might say Catholic Schools of Broome County are in my blood! I have lifelong friends that I made in grammar school who traveled the halls of Seton with me. We get together as often as we can and stay in touch through frequent texts. I believe in the Catholic School System of Broome County. As a teacher of 41 years at St. John the Evangelist, I have seen the children we nurtured and educated become doctors, lawyers, teachers, priests, and religious sisters. I am proud of the heritage of our system, and I pray that the system will continue to provide excellence in education, but most importantly, a Christ-centered education where our Catholic faith is nurtured and handed on to the next generation of Catholics. Go Saints!"
