What is SCRIP? When you purchase SCRIP, you are purchasing gift certificates and prepaid cards to use just like cash. These cards and certificates look and work just like the ones you buy in the stores. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday items such as food, clothing, and other essentials.
Why use SCRIP instead of just buying items or gift cards yourself? When the SCRIP purchases SCRIP, we can get it at a discount – and then return the discount to you in the form of tuition credit for the following school year. The amount offered back is equal to the amount generated by orders placed in your family’s name and it is subtracted right off your tuition bill.
