Scholarships
The Catholic Schools of Broome County (CSBC) offers approximately $1 million in tuition assistance each year thanks to generous support from our local parishes, the Syracuse Diocese, and alumni and friends of the CSBC. This assistance is made up of general tuition assistance which any family who completes a FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment application may qualify for at both the diocesan and local levels. In addition, there are several named scholarships, each with its own criteria that families may apply for. Any family interested in applying for a named scholarship, with the exception of the Patricia Murphy Scholarship and the Pineau Awards, MUST first complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment application. Instructions for completing this application are below.
To apply for a Named Scholarship, families must complete the application for Named Scholarships using the link below. In addition, you must follow any guidelines for additional materials requested (essay, letters of recommendation, etc.) listed in the application.
DEADLINES
Both the FACTS application and the Named Scholarship application must be submitted by February 15th. New families applying after this date may not be eligible for Diocesan tuition assistance. However, they may be considered for Named Scholarships. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Once the tuition assistance process is complete, each family will be notified by email, detailing each source of tuition assistance received. This is usually towards the beginning of May.
With questions or if you need assistance completing any of the applications please contact the Director of Admissions at 607-231-4149.

Pretzels with a purpose! 🥨💚
Our 3rd graders at St. John’s created these amazing woven pretzel artworks while learning about the Lenten tradition behind them. The twists represent arms folded in prayer and the three holes symbolize the Holy Trinity.
Great job, 3rd grade!
