SCC Newsletter, April 16, 2021

SCC Community,  Thank you so much for a great week.  I previously sent a couple of emails. Please take a few minutes to read.  I would like to give a few shout outs this week:

– Congratulations to our High School Science Olympiad team who competed in the New York State Tournament on April 10th.  68 state qualifying teams competed and our team finished 27th overall.  Medals were awarded to Christian Kang and Lincoln Lin for their 6th place finish in both Circuit Lab and Machines. Out of 3 local teams, Ithaca placed 26th, SCC 27th, and Vestal 67th.   Great job team!  We are proud of our Saints!

– Congrats to our NHS members and new inductees.  We are so proud of you and all of the great work you have accomplished over the years.  I have provided a full list in the Newsletter attached.

– Shout outs to Keyahn and Inaaya Sethi. Their Odyssey of the Mind team won the New York State competition last week, so they will advance to World Finals at the end of May. Great job!
