For the past several years, SCC’s Creative Writing Program has been fortunate enough to enjoy visits from professional writers of all kinds who have shared their time, knowledge, professional experience and expertise with our students. In years past, we’ve been the recipient of various grants to help fund these experiences. We have applied for a Visions Loves Educators Grant, but because we will not hear about that until late Spring, we’ve started an Indiegogo Campaign to help raise funds for monthly author visits for the rest of the year.
