Can my children attend The Catholic Schools of Broome County if they are not Catholic?

All of the Catholic Schools of Broome County, admit students of any religion, race, color or sex.

What is considered affiliated?

Affiliated means being a registered member of a Catholic parish.

Do you follow NYS curriculum?

The Catholic Schools of Broome County follow New York State and Diocesan curriculum guidelines.

Are your teachers certified?

Many of our teachers are certified by the New York State Education Department.

Can my child be bused to school?

Transportation is provided through your child’s public school district. Forms are available through the school’s office until April 1st. After that date, you must contact the district.

Do you offer AP (advanced placement) and honors classes?

Yes , The Catholic Schools of Broome County offer both AP and Honor level classes in many subject areas.

Is tuition assistance available?

Yes, families in our system are eligible for tuition assistance. To apply for assistance obtain an application at any of our schools and submit the application by the application deadline.

What is the tuition rate?

Tuition rate for the school is set by the diocese and can be viewed here.

Do I have to pay all at once?

There are several payment plans available. Call the Catholic Schools Office at 607-723-1547 to find the method that best works for you.

Do students have to wear a uniform?

Yes, The Catholic Schools of Broome County students from Pre-K through 12th grade are required to wear a uniform. Our dress code policy can be found in the student handbook and on our website.

Do you offer before or after school care?

The Catholic Schools of Broome County offer both a before and after school care program at our elementary schools. Our before school care begins at 7:00 am, and after school care begins immediately at dismissal, and runs until between 5:30 and 6pm (depending on the school).
