Catholic Schools of Broome County Families:
I hope this correspondence finds you and your families well and enjoying the summer. As we all anxiously await the system’s reopening plan for the upcoming school year, we have decided to move forward with the traditional summer SCRIP order. The order due date is Tuesday, July 28th, with orders being ready for distribution back to families by the end of the following week (Aug 7th). The SCRIP reps ask that you either mail or drop off your orders by Tuesday 7/28, if you are running into an issue please give them a call so they can work with you. As is always with case with the summer order, it is your responsibility to pick up your orders from the school or rep
The goal is to continue the SCRIP program while working within parameters set forth by the CSBC. Once a reopening plan has been determined I will work on future SCRIP order dates, these dates will then be sent out to families. Traditionally there has always been an order in early September, I am hopeful that will occur this year as well. We will be reaching out to the local vendors during the month of August to determine whether they wish to continue their participation in the SCRIP program.
For those families new to the system or unfamiliar with the SCRIP program, I encourage you to contact your school or SCRIP rep to learn how you can save on your tuition costs.
