SCRIP

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a program where national and local retailers sell gift certificates to an organization, in our case, it’s through the Broome County Catholic Schools. The gift certificates are purchased at face value and spend just like cash at the participating retailers.

How does it work?

An order form is sent home with your student monthly or you can click the link below to print out an order form.
Checks for the total amount should be made payable to Broome County Catholic Schools.

The school then purchases the gift certificates from SCRIP and the retailer gives the school back a percentage of the purchase price. The amount of revenue that the school gets back depends on the retailer.

Tuition Credit

The school keeps track of the revenue each family generates monthly from their SCRIP purchases during the school year. This revenue can be applied towards a tuition credit equal to the amount of revenue generated by SCRIP for your child’s tuition bill for the following school year.

Admission to Catholic Schools of Broome County is the first step on a journey toward personal success.
