The school uniform and dress code provide a positive effect on both staff and students, boosts school spirit and shows a sense of pride. School uniforms are cost effective as well as making your morning routine go a bit more smoothly in order that your child will be on time and ready to learn.
Uniform & Dress Code Specifics
The dress code of students at all levels in the Catholic School of Broome County is anchored around the colors of hunter green, black and white.
Students have the option of wearing KHAKI or BLACK bottoms. Shirts may be short or long sleeve polo in hunter green, black or white-plain or with the “S” logo.
Sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn in the hunter green, black or white. Pants, shorts, skorts, shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts may be bought at local stores, or our uniform company, Lands’ End©. It is required that you purchase at least one (1) hunter green polo shirt, with the school logo through Lands’ End©. This polo is required to wear on special day, i.e. Mass days, field trip, etc. Skorts can be either black or khaki, and jumpers can be in the green plaid (same plaid of the high school skirt) that is available at Lands’ End©, khaki or black.
Physical Education Uniform
The Physical Education uniform for grades Preschool-6 consists of plain black or grey knee-length, lacrosse type shorts, or plain black or grey sweatpants, and a grey or green T-shirt/sweatshirt, plain, or with the school logo. SAINTS wear is permitted on Physical Education days. Physical Education shorts/sweatpants/t-shirts are available through Lands’ End© or can be purchased locally.
Footwear/Shoes
All students must wear sneakers or other rubber soled, tie or buckle shoes that provide support and safety.
Socks must be worn at all times.
