Our Principal

Our Principal at Saint James School is Mr. Patrick Monachino.

Mr. Monachino is a second generation Catholic Schools of Broome County graduate.  For the past four years he has served as Assistant Principal of Seton Catholic Central.  


Proud of his Catholic school background Mr. Monachino has spent his entire career as an educator and student in Catholic schools.  An Endicott native, he attended St. Anthony’s Elementary School, Seton Middle and Seton Catholic Central.  He is a graduate of the University of Scranton holding degrees in History and Political Science with a minor in Theology.  He then enrolled in the Providence Alliance for Catholic Teachers (PACT) Program in Providence, Rhode Island.  He obtained a Masters in Education taking classes in the summer while teaching full-time at a PreK-8th grade school in Fall River, Massachusetts.  After graduation, he moved back to his home in the CSBC teaching Social Studies and  Theology at Seton Catholic Central.  He is currently enrolled in Le Moyne College’s Educational Leadership Program and will be obtaining a CAS in Educational Leadership.     

Mr. Monachino is a parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Endwell where both of his daughters were baptized.  He lives with his wife and two young daughters on the westside of Binghamton.  He enjoys watching sports, golfing, and most of all being with his family.
