School History
The building has two floors and a basement with 39 classrooms, including the band room, chorus room, computer lab, science labs and art room. The gymnasium has been used for various sporting events, including basketball, musicals and plays (featured on the stage), graduations, masses, assemblies, and other events. The building also has a chapel near the gym that is used for daily masses and is also used by religion classes during the school day. Within the building there is also a library with computers that is used for studying, the Saintly Grounds afterschool café, and a main office.
In 2011, Seton Catholic Central High School became Seton Catholic Central when it opened its doors to students in 7th and 8th grades. Today Seton Catholic Central has students in grades 7- 12 and has approximately 355 students, with Mr. Patrick Monachino as the principal. The school offers many class options for all learning levels, as well as many sports and activities for all students. Students from all over the Binghamton area attend the school, as well as international students from places such as Germany, Italy and Asia.
