Dear Catholic Schools of Broome County Families & Staff:
We hope this letter finds you well. Our greatest concern, as always, is the health and well-being of our CSBC students, families, and staff. As the world faces the impact of Covid-19, we are revising and improving our plans and continue to update you with changes. Today, Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered all schools must remain closed through April 29th.
The administrative staff and teachers are currently making plans to continue distance learning instruction beginning April 14th through April 29th. We know this health crisis has posed challenges to all and we will continue to provide our rigorous academic offerings through a distance learning format due to the circumstances.
As we receive further guidance from New York State, Broome County, and the Diocese of Syracuse regarding ongoing closures or re-opening of schools, we will keep you informed. Please know we will remain committed to delivering quality educational instruction in person or on-line as needed. Stay healthy, stay Saints Strong and have a Blessed Easter.
God bless,
Elizabeth Carter, PhD
