John Mirabito – Former CSBC School Board Chair
The Challenge: John and Cheryl Mirabito will match all gifts made to the CSBC on the Day of Giving, dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.

John and Cheryl Mirabito are avid supporters of the Catholic Schools of Broome County. John is the former chair of the CSBC School Board, and both are proud grandparents of a current CSBC student. John and Cheryl generously supported the recent capital campaign in the CSBC with a leading gift of $1 million dollars. Today they are issuing a challenge to support tuition assistance.

PERFORMING ARTS CHALLENGE

The Challenge: The Select Choir at SCC has been given once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to sing at Carnegie Hall and for his Holy Father, Pope Francis at the Vatican! Due to Covid, the trips were rescheduled and are now are back-to-back causing unforeseen budget gaps. Gault Auto will match dollar-for-dollar all donations up to $5,000 made from 8 am – 12 pm on February 23, 2022, to help the SCC Select Choir.
SCHOOL COMPETITION
To make the Day of Giving interesting, Seton, St. John’s, St. James, and All Saints will be competing for your support. The school that receives the most number of donors based on the percentage of enrollment will win a school-wide ice cream social, so please make sure you remember to designate your gift on the giving page drop-down menu to the school you’re rooting for!
